Beauty with Ayurveda… #AtoZChallenge

This is how Ayurveda defines BEAUTY…

i.e. there are three bases of beauty.

Roopam: which means the outer beauty that is healthy hair and radiant skin.

“Gunam” refers to inner beauty — the beauty of personality, skill, intelligence and all that a person owns.

And “Vayastyag” means lasting beauty — looking, and feeling, younger than your chronological age.  Ayurveda, as we know, does not focus only on cosmetics to achieve the state of true beauty.

Its more about following the fact of “YOU ARE WHAT YOU EAT”

The skin that radiates from inside.. hair that flows like a breeze and flawless texture is best attained when you eat what your Hair, Skin, and Body long for. We will discuss about that well in details in upcoming blogs.

Along with diet, Stress Management is equally important for the body to feel content. Of course, I am not saying don’t take the stress, none of us can really help that but yeah managing it can make life better.. Like with yoga, meditation, music and color therapy are few other ways which work wonders in managing stress and hence adding to inner beauty theorems.

As discussed before, Ayurveda believes more in the principle of Prevention than Cure. Taking care of hair and skin regularly in a way that they stay radiant, smooth and young. The various beauty treatments that Ayurveda suggests have a careful blend of herbs infused or not with

  1. Being Amna

You are right ! Stress management is really important for healthy lifestyle and only then you appear beautiful outward. I have always trusted ayurveda because it has no side effects and have always achieved best results through ayurveda treatment.

  2. Jhilmil D Saha

So agree with you, getting rid of stress is really important. Food also makes us what we are. Such a nice post.
